About Me
I was once a burnt out teacher too!
After just two years in the classroom, I was completely burnt out. I taught at two very different schools in London — one too rigid, the other too chaotic — and in both, I felt overwhelmed, overworked, and underpaid. I loved teaching, but the constant marking, planning, pressure, and lack of support made it hard to keep going.
When COVID hit, it gave me space to reflect. I started tutoring alongside my day job, and within a few months, I was earning more while working fewer hours. Eventually, I left the classroom completely.
Since then, I’ve had two children and built a six-figure tutoring business on part-time hours. For the first time, I’ve found the balance, freedom, and fulfilment I always wanted from teaching.
